Nigeria to Partner Google on ICT training for Youths.

You read certain news and you can only shake your head.

Check this:
#NigeriatopartnerGoogleonICTtrainingforyouths
You cannot partner with Sunday Afolayan's GDES on ICT training for youths?
You cannot partner with Gbenga Sesan's PIN on ICT training for youths?
You cannot partner with Nnamdi Ezeigbo's SLOT on ICT training for youths if only for the success of Tecno and Infinix?
Despite Aminu Mohammad Ofs' winning a Presidential award at a national event some years back, you cannot partner with his firm on ICT training?
You cannot partner with Seun Onigbinde's Budgt on ICT training for youths?
You cannot partner with Abiodun Atobatele's ATB on ICT training for youths?
You cannot partner with Akin Babalola's EVIS on ICT training for youths?
You cannot partner with Oga Titi Omo-Ettu's CyberSchuul on ICT training for youths?
You cannot even partner with FUTA, UNILAG, ABU and UNN on ICT training for youths?
The partnership must be with (Oyinbo) company otherwise our youths cannot learn component level engineering, component level repairs or programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PHP, C++, Python, SQL, Ruby etc or back end scripts or server administration for Ubuntu, Linux, Windows etc operating systems?
It must ultimately be with white(Oyinbo)!
You are going to partner Google on things Nigerian firms have excelled at. Is that even legit? Isn't there a law or policy against that? It is trite that we observe the Local Content Act in breach.
Unfortunately, my NSE and my NCS are very very busy with inefficacious international conferences on how to develop engineering and ICT in Nigeria!
What is the title of this year's conference again?

NB
UK will ban petrol and diesel vehicles in 2040. Since our engineers don't currently refine our crude oil, Nigeria will be the strong nonsense market guaranteeing job security for their (UK) petroleum engineers.

Amen! #OpportunedToBeThisFavoured #LiftedAndGraful

I say Happy Birthday.
Long Life and Prosperity
MISSIVE TO PESSIMISTIS
I have keenly observed the critics of the #NotTooYoungToRun Bill mostly youth and deduce that it's either so many don't understand the bill or are deliberately being mischievous.

However, i must commend the critics of this bill who have at least taken a stand. Thus, subjecting the bill to a rigorous debate. Unfortunately, I find it appalling to see some in criminal silence. "Hell should be reserved for those who keep mute during moral crisis". This set of people with silence are the greater problems of and in our generation. They are cowards.

A school of thought argued that the bill is a threshold to another negative political adventure, where only the children of the present political class will be of benefit to the passage of the bill. This opinion is a reflection of the level of pessimism, low self-esteem and lack of confidence the supposed "ordinary" Nigerian youths have in themselves. The facts still remains that the children of the perceived elites or political class are Nigerian youths and are entitled to the passage of this Bill by law. why demoralize yourself because you feel they have a brighter chance all because of their financial clout. This thought is an exemplification of how disingenuous some of our current youths are. Your ingenuity is what should be capitalized on and leverage upon. I further presume that those who opine that the bill is for the benefit of the children of the higher class are simply saying they are inferior to them. Are you expecting a clause stating that the law exempts them, thereby stating unequivocally that the reduction of age should be only for the poor or ordinary Nigerian Youths as the case may be.

Another school of thought have argued that age is not the problem of our present society. I partially agree with this school of thought. They further argued that the young people given chances previously have not in anyway distinguished themselves from the current crop of leaders. This argument is nothing but a biased one, you have deliberately not considered young Nigerians who have made exceptional impact in the world, in their various fields, via leadership, administration and entrepreneurship. This set of persons will definitely do well if given opportunity, don't be quick to conclude that the youths referred in, are just some failed youths in your Students' Union. Despite, the failure of some of your leaders in your respective schools. we had some with exceptional achievements as Students' leaders.

Some youths and their companies who are testimonies includes:

1. Adebola Williams - Red Media Africa 31years

2. Oluwaseun Osewa - Nairaland 30years.

3. Ogunlana Olumide and Chukwuwezam Obanor - Prepclass 24years both.

4. Bankole Cardoso - EasyTaxi 27years

5. Linda Ikeji - 36years

6. Ola Orekunrin - Flying Doctors 27years

7. Ladi Delano - Bakrie Delano Africa 22years

if you think of #TooYoungToRun, have you thought of #TooOldToRun? if people are made to retire at 60 or 70 or after 35years in service. It implies that they have become less productive and they should be allowed to rest but sometimes, that is when they want to contest or govern under the disguise of being experienced. I will be 70years someday. lol.

Power is not voluntarily given but must be demanded. let's stop the talk and work the work. Those of you against the bill give us solutions and stop the rant on social media.  Thanks.

Fellow Nigerian Youths Make your Senator or Hon. Member Accountable.

We know that for one reason or the other most of you can't make it to Abuja and we understand that you will be joining us in 'spirit" from where ever you are.

Our effort is not in vain.  As would have noticed,  the NASS reversed itself and included our issue in the report because we refused to keep quiet. This is a historic milestone.

Meanwhile, we have a major task ahead this week. The goal is to get a minimum of 72 votes in the Senate and 240 votes in the House of Representatives.

This is the time to fuel this campaign again. It's the time to call, sms and tweet at our legislators in the National Assembly to kindly support the #NotTooYoungToRun bill.

Lets reach out to people within our network to also contact their legislators immediately as voting is tomorrow @NASS.

Let's make sure that the 3 Senators and 9 MHRs from Ondo state vote for the bill. In all of our public speaking engagement on air or at any forum this week, let's endeavour to charge the lawmakers to support the bill.

I am glad we all stood up to be counted at this juncture of our political history. Our mission is to get a minimum of 71 Votes in the Senate and 240 votes in the House of representatives.

I believe this is obtainable,  and it's achievable.

Thanks.

2019 IS AT THE CORNER

It is time the youth stand up to their responsibility.
#18isnottooyoungtorun

As we say no to money politics, we are determined to elect people of conscience to office.
SAY NO TO MONEY POLITICS!

IMAGINE!!!!

1. Between 2007 and 2010, Tinubu spent virtually his last kobo to ensure he sent Segun Oni out of the Ekiti State Government House. He did. Today, Oni is the National Vice Chair of APC, a party same Tinubu, not another one o, is the national leader.

2. Audu Ogbe once told opposition parties there was no vacancy in Aso Rock. He was national chair of the ruling PDP then. Today, he is a minister under a government being controlled by that same opposition.

3. Tinubu once told Obasanjo that he was the "problem of Nigeria". But same Tinubu went to Obasanjo that they had finished the construction of the oppositionship. They wanted him to be the navigator! The old fox readily accepted.

4.Nasir el-Rufai, the diminutive governor of Kaduna State, once told Buhari that he was not a presidential material. Today, not only is Buhari president but the loquacious el-Rufai is a governor on Buhari's party. He bashes PDP to no end nowadays.

5. Fayose and Fayemi once mounted same rostrum, campaigning in Ekiti with Fayose carrying placard at his father's burial in 2009 that they should vote for Fayemi. In 2014, same Fayose contested against Fayemi and sent him to the Former Governors' Club.

6. Majority of top politicians shouting 'APC, Change!' were shouting 'PDP, Power!' in 2011!

Now, all these took place within the last TWELVE years! Not that they took place before you were born hence, you did not witness them.

Yes No recycling of politicians again in Nigeria.....

DR. DEJI ADELEKE SECURE FREEDOM OF OVER 200 INMATES IN ILESHA PRISON

Detention of Jagun Alhaji Fatai Diekola in Ilesa prison is a blessing to 200 inmate who has been serving jail term because of their inability to pay option of fine. Dr Deji Adeleke the father of famous hip pop artist Davido was accompanied by former Speaker of Osun state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Rafiu Adejare Bello and Barrister Amos to Ilesa prison yesterday evening to see and sympathise with Alhaji Fatai Diekola and 5 others who was arrested and detained in Ilesa Prison by Osun state government.

Dr Deji Adeleke also ordered 700 mattresses and pillows for convenience of the inmates and charges those that regain freedom to behave well in the society.

You can see how Diekola arrest and detained bring smile and joy into several family. Those who ordered his arrest thought they want to wicked him, but it is a blessing over 200 people and the blessing will extend to the entire state.

20 THINGS YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT NIGERIA.
You may already know that Nigeria is the largest black nation in the world and the most populous nation in Africa.

You may already know that Nigeria has great dependency on crude oil, plus all the other opinions of David Cameron. Here are 20 unpopular facts about Nigeria.

1. Are you aware that all over the world Nigerians are setting the pace and becoming the standard by which others measure themselves? Do you know??

2. In the US, Nigerians are the most educated immigrant community. Type it into Google and you'll see it. Not one of the most educated, the most educated.

3. 60% of Nigerians in the US have college degrees. This is far above the American national average of 30%.

4. Nigerians in US are one of the highest earners, typically earning 25% more than the median US income of $53k.

5. In Ivy League schools in Europe and America, Nigerians routinely outperform their peers from other nations.

6. A Nigerian family, The Imafidon family, have officially been named the smartest family in the UK.

7. The designer of the famous car, Chevrolet Volt, Jelani Aliyu, is a super talented Nigerian from Sokoto State.

8. The World's fastest supercomputer was designed by a world renowned inventor and scientist, Philip Emeagwali, a full-blown Nigerian whose patency was awarded in 2015. This means Nigeria has the patency to the world's fastest computer: a Black Nigerian.

9. The wealthiest Black man and woman on earth are Nigerians, Aliko Dangote and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind.

10. South Africa couldn't have ended apartheid & achieved Black rule if not for the leadership role Nigeria played.

11. Of the 3 South African Presidents who ruled after apartheid, two of them once lived in Nigeria under asylum. Both Nelson Mandela (60s) and Thabo Mbeki (70s) lived in Nigeria before becoming President of South Africa. We gave financial support, human support, boycotted an Olympics and our politicians, musicians and activists campaigned relentlessly.

12. Nigeria spent over $3 Billion and lost hundreds of soldiers to end the wars in both Liberia and Sierra Leone which the world ignored because they have no oil.

13. When there was a coup in São Tomé and Príncipe in 2003, Nigeria restored the elected President back to power.

14. Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom had street lights fueled by palm oil.

15. 500 years ago, Benin casted metal alloys to create magnificent art including the world famous Queen Ida Mask.

16. Amina was a warrior queen who ruled Zaria Emirate in Kaduna state, Northwestern Nigeria 400 years ago in 1610. Google and see what she means to Africa.

17. We gave monetary gifts to Ireland during our oil boom and built a statue for France free of charge. We are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich and don't be lied to.

18. The first television station in Africa was NTA Ibadan (1960) long before Ireland has their RTE station.

=========

Wherever you look in this great country, Nigeria, heroes abound both now and in our recent and ancient past.

If all you do is listen to mainstream Western media, you'll not get the full picture of your Nigerian heritage.

Do not listen to any leader who says Nigerians are criminals, no matter who he is, or his height and position.

We're not a nation of scammers, drugs & corruption, but a people with a verifiable track record of greatness.

==========

Here is what CNN, BBC, Aljezeera and western media will not tell you about Nigerians:

19. On the 7th May, 2016 at Howard University in Washington D.C history was made. Out of 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, 43 of them were Nigerians and out of 27 awards given, 16 went to Nigerians.

They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas et al.

If you don't blow your trumpet, no one will blow it for you. VIVA NAIJA!!!

20. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians world over and only less than 250,000 of this figure have traceable criminal records. This is about 0.14% of our entire national population in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global media.

Listen Nigeria, dont let anybody woo you into believing that you are a criminal just because you are a Nigerian. Nigerians are NOT criminals. You are NOT a criminal. You are topnotch; second to none around the world. Be proud of Nigeria wherever you go. Take out your Passport with pride. Be proud of our GREEN HERITAGE. Be enthusiastic of our FUTURE GREATNESS #CelebrateYourNigerianness!

NIGERIA: GREAT NATION, GOOD PEOPLE!!!!

If you truly believe, kindly add anything else that you remember about Nigerians and the greatness of Nigeria.

Osun West Senatorial Bye-Election a lesson

Part two

The handwriting on the wall seems ambiguous at the beginning but at the end of the election, the handwriting is clear now.

If Aregbesola is not daft and gullible with all other APC stalwarts, I believe they should know that the results of today's election is a microcosm of what will befall APC in 2018 in Osun State and in 2019 general election.
Congrats to PDP!!!

Keep paying half salary,

Keep developing physical infrastructure while your workers are dying of hunger.

Continue with your wasteful infrastructural development while the welfare of Osun Indigenes are nothing to you.

I believe no worker in the state of Osun will cast vote for APC in 2018

Keep the gate of LAUTECH shut and keep deceiving yourself if APC as a party will not go back into oblivion.

I think APC will perform better as an opposition party in state of Osun come 2018.

Keep destroying legacy built over 83 years ago. .

Go ahead and change Ilegram nomenclature.

Keep insulting your people as sectional.

I AM SURE YOU WILL NOT HAVE UP TO 100 VOTES IF YOU TRY TO CONTEST AS SENATOR IN IFE IJESHA SENATORIAL DISTRICT.

Osun West Senatorial Bye-Election a lesson

Yesterday's Senatorial Election in Osun should be a clear signal to APC that they've failed the Yoruba nation but we are not like does poeple that we be killing to get something.

As for Governor Aregbesola,#BabaKabiru,i hope you will accept the REALITY of what this senatorial election result is telling you. Personally, sir,i have tremendous respect for you,but it is becoming clear that you've lost yourself in the adulating praises of charlatans, who are professional sycophants.

You are losing touch with your people, sir.

Youth should come together in one not as electorate but we can also be elected for.

At age 18+ we are not too young to run for election
#nottooyoungtorun
Finally,i sincerely hope a new formidable political party can be formed before 2019 to challenged this insensitive, disorganized, and corruption promoting political party called APC.

Why is it that this age bracket is today so docile?

Why is this age bracket today incapable of feeding itself?

Why is it that this age bracket is today barred from even aspiring to certain political offices?

Why is it that this age bracket is today incapacitated, unwilling, unable and incapable of

LET WE YOUTHS START ASKING QUESTIONS!!!

Let's stand against the old wine
Nigeria should be Name Biafra...

This nation would have been great, if allowed to be called Biafra (Bia, Come/Return the children of Afra). #Biafra50.

If I was Igbo in a state that spent 2 billion naira in the celebration of its 50 years, but not even 2 flowers laid in the remembrance of the 2 million, who lost their lives and properties at the inception of such state's creation. I think I'll be angry, in fact, I'll be very angry.

If I was Igbo in present day Nigeria, yes that same nigeria that murdered 2 million of its own family, in the bid to keep itself one, that nation which crushed the hopes, aspirations and visions of my fathers, and still made me grow up with metal beads of humiliation, strapped around my neck, as a punishment that comes with such audacity to dream and to be courageous enough to act upon such aspiration for Babylon.

If i had grown up being reminded constantly that my fathers were failures, and that the way to deal with traitors is by omitting their progenies from the future plan, yet the nation in which I'm forced to accept, even in 50years, hasn't won beyond the grandeur and the failure of our hopes, because when you trap me down, you too must remain down for me to remain down. If I was the one trapped down by a weak human mind, I'll be angry, in fact, I'll be really angry.

But unfortunately, I'm not Igbo, in fact, I'm still struggling to understand what makes me a Nigerian aside the fact that a certain green paper, which bears my credentials say so. But I'm Yoruba to my bones, that much I know and, i should take responsibility for all that my fathers either did or didn't do to alter this genocide, not for the sake of what is gone, but for the sake of cohesion, in an intricately complex present, for the sake of the stifling #memory, that continuously reduce our ability to collectively embrace the future in clean hearts and cleansed hands.

Today, I'll exercise a minute silence, to take a moment and deeply meditate upon what two million lives really look like, when taken away from one big family.
