MISSIVE TO PESSIMISTIS
I have keenly observed the critics of the #NotTooYoungToRun Bill mostly youth and deduce that it's either so many don't understand the bill or are deliberately being mischievous.

However, i must commend the critics of this bill who have at least taken a stand. Thus, subjecting the bill to a rigorous debate. Unfortunately, I find it appalling to see some in criminal silence. "Hell should be reserved for those who keep mute during moral crisis". This set of people with silence are the greater problems of and in our generation. They are cowards.

A school of thought argued that the bill is a threshold to another negative political adventure, where only the children of the present political class will be of benefit to the passage of the bill. This opinion is a reflection of the level of pessimism, low self-esteem and lack of confidence the supposed "ordinary" Nigerian youths have in themselves. The facts still remains that the children of the perceived elites or political class are Nigerian youths and are entitled to the passage of this Bill by law. why demoralize yourself because you feel they have a brighter chance all because of their financial clout. This thought is an exemplification of how disingenuous some of our current youths are. Your ingenuity is what should be capitalized on and leverage upon. I further presume that those who opine that the bill is for the benefit of the children of the higher class are simply saying they are inferior to them. Are you expecting a clause stating that the law exempts them, thereby stating unequivocally that the reduction of age should be only for the poor or ordinary Nigerian Youths as the case may be.

Another school of thought have argued that age is not the problem of our present society. I partially agree with this school of thought. They further argued that the young people given chances previously have not in anyway distinguished themselves from the current crop of leaders. This argument is nothing but a biased one, you have deliberately not considered young Nigerians who have made exceptional impact in the world, in their various fields, via leadership, administration and entrepreneurship. This set of persons will definitely do well if given opportunity, don't be quick to conclude that the youths referred in, are just some failed youths in your Students' Union. Despite, the failure of some of your leaders in your respective schools. we had some with exceptional achievements as Students' leaders.

Some youths and their companies who are testimonies includes:

1. Adebola Williams - Red Media Africa 31years

2. Oluwaseun Osewa - Nairaland 30years.

3. Ogunlana Olumide and Chukwuwezam Obanor - Prepclass 24years both.

4. Bankole Cardoso - EasyTaxi 27years

5. Linda Ikeji - 36years

6. Ola Orekunrin - Flying Doctors 27years

7. Ladi Delano - Bakrie Delano Africa 22years

if you think of #TooYoungToRun, have you thought of #TooOldToRun? if people are made to retire at 60 or 70 or after 35years in service. It implies that they have become less productive and they should be allowed to rest but sometimes, that is when they want to contest or govern under the disguise of being experienced. I will be 70years someday. lol.

Power is not voluntarily given but must be demanded. let's stop the talk and work the work. Those of you against the bill give us solutions and stop the rant on social media.  Thanks.

Why Nigerians were warned not to vote Buhari Ten Years Ago? Obviously Nigerians do not like to read and that is why we are where we are...
