WHO DESTROYED NIGERIA, PDP, APC, ... OR PEOPLE?

So, the narrative in recent times especially from those who support the present regime, is that "PDP destroyed" our country and it will take time to rebuild it. We don't think so...

1. Sen. Pres. Bukola Saraki. PDP Governor for 8yrs and PDP Senator for over 3 yrs. Joined APC in 2014. He is the Senate President.

2. Speaker Yakubu Dogara. Two-term PDP House of Rep member. Joined APC in 2014 and was elected for a third time in 2015. He is the Speaker.

3. VP Atiku Abubakar. Nigeria's PDP Vice-President for 8yrs and presently an APC Elderstatesman after jumping from one party to the other since 2007.

4. Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba. PDP Senator for 12yrs. Decamped to APC about two months ago. He is the serving Chairman, NDDC Board.

5. Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri. Two-term PDP Senator from Bayelsa State. Decamped to APC after the 2015 elections. He is a serving Minister of the Republic.

6. Sen. Ita Enang. Two-term PDP Senator from Akwa-Ibom. Joined APC before the 2015 elections. Presently the SSA to the President on NASS.

7. Gov. Samuel Ortom. Long-serving Benue State Secretary of the PDP. Former National Auditor of the PDP and former Minister under Pres. Jonathan. Joined APC in December 2014. He is the Governor of Benue State.

8. Sen. Barnabas Gemade. Founding father of the PDP, former National Chairman of the party and Senator from 2011. Joined APC in December 2014. He is a serving Senator.

9. Gov. Atiku Bagudu. A two-term PDP Senator from Kebbi. Joined the APC at some point. He is the serving Governor of Kebbi State.

10. Gov. Aminu Tambuwal. Former PDP Speaker of the House of Representatives. Joined APC in 2014. He is the serving Governor of Sokoto State.

11. Sen. Abdullahi Adamu. Two-term PDP Governor of Nasarawa and Senator in 2011. Joined APC in 2014. Still a serving Senator.

12. Sen. Danjuma Goje. Two-term PDP Governor of Gombe State and Senator in 2011. Joined APC in 2014. Still a serving Senator.

13. Hon. Dakuku Peterside. Was a PDP Rep member from Rivers State. Joined APC along with Gov. Amaechi. He is the DG of NIMASA.

14. Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso. Two-term PDP Governor of Kano State and former Minister of Defence under Pres. Obasanjo. Joined APC in late 2013. He is a serving Senator.

15. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi. Former PDP Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. Two-term PDP Governor of Rivers. Joined APC in late 2013. He is a serving Minister of the Republic.

16. Gov. Rochas Okorocha. Was a Special Adviser to PDP's Pres. Obasanjo. Became the Governor of Imo on APGA's platform.  Joined APC in February 2013. He is the Governor of Imo State.

17. Sen. George Akume. Two-term PDP Governor of Benue State and Senator in 2007. Left the party in December 2010. Still a serving APC Senator.

18. Gov. Nasir El-Rufai. Former FCT Minister under Pres. Obasanjo. Left the PDP in 2010 and joined CPC. He is the serving APC Governor of Kaduna State.

19. Gov. Bello Masari. PDP Speaker of the House of Reps in 2003. Joined the CPC in 2010. He is the serving APC Governor of Katsina State.

20. Sen. Adamu Aliero. Two-term PDP Governor of Kebbi State and Senator in 2007. Later became FCT Minister under Pres. Yar'Adua. Joined APC at some point. He is a serving Senator.

21. Sen. Udoma Udo Udoma. Two-term PDP Senator from Akwa-Ibom State. I don't even know if he ever decamped to APC. He is the serving Minister of Budget & National Planning.

Now, save for Atiku who is a serial Presidential aspirant waiting for another election year to continue with his impossible dream of becoming Nigeria's President, all the above are holding offices in this regime. They all played a part in the 16yrs of "PDP destruction" but somehow are members of the APC that want to "rebuild". Wow!

Our submission therefore is that PDP did NOT destroy Nigeria. PDP is just a name/acronym.
The Nigerian people destroyed Nigeria.

As we can see from above.
Change is pipe dream in this country. If you are part of a problem, definitely you can't be part of the solution.

Our politicians lack credibility. They have no ideology. They jump ship instantaneously. They are political mathematicians. in fact , they are more physicists than Einstein. As soon as they discover , where pendulum of victory is swinging, they wait at the end of the oscillation and catch the pendulum itself. These same set of people paved way for PMB's emergence and they are big stakeholders in his government.

So our innocent President is helpless . Undoubtedly, he can achieve little with the corrupt politicians around him because they don't want the system to work.

This readily brings to mind the new initiative by the Green Movement as the best alternative option for Nigerians 🇳🇬 . May it be, amen!!!.

Lady Murdered by Her Ex

"I really shouldn't be doing this but the worst has happened and someone's life might be saved. My friend was murdered by her ex and burned beyond recognition.

Before then he had battered her black and blue on one occasion and would constantly drain her emotionally . These signs were there , he tried to kill her many times until he succeeded.
Now my friend is gone and she'll never be able to grow into the person God destined her to be.

If he pushes you, hits you, yells at you ... my dear, take to your heels before you get yourself killed. Life is too fickle to be toyed with . Only a fool refuses to learn from other people's lessons ." -

Dear Governor Fayose: Please Shut Up

Your Excellency: I greet you. First, this disclosure: I am neither a PDP nor APC member. I do not belong to any political party in Nigeria. I am a passionate patriot of our great nation. However, I am also an unapologetic supporter of our President, Muhammad Buhari. I admire his blunt, bold simplicity, sincerity, sense of purpose, commitment, unconditional care for Nigeria’s everyday people and patriotism, especially since he transitioned from a brutal Military dictator to a born-again democrat. I believed almost 20Million Nigerians that voted for him in the last election saw the same qualities as I did.

Sir, I write in response to some of your vicious attacks on our President. I cannot go back to years of continued hostility from you, to our President. It seemed you continue with this exercise because no one within his media relations has responded aggressively to some of your juvenile comments with regards to the President’s health, policies, wife, and his family. Your Excellency, when is enough, enough?.

You smack the president with a silly smirk on your face: you have reduced the office of the Presidency to a playhouse program. Where is your dignity and respect for your elders? Yoruba culture is rich and endowed with profound respect for our elders. You are Yoruba. Sir, respect that sacred and unique culture of your tribe. One of the fundamental elements of democracy is right to free speech. It's within your rights to criticize the President, but with respect,  maturity and dignity your office beholds.

Few days ago, 82 Chibok girls were released by the terror group Boko Haram, the deal was still fresh when you accused the President of manipulating information. Sir, you alleged that the release of these girl captives was diverting attention from the sick President’s true state of health; you further, carelessly stated that the Chibok girls were not missing. ”What is not missing cannot be found”… But sir, where were you when Goodluck Jonathan made a surprise three-hour visit to Nigerian soldiers stationed in Sambisa Forest on January 14th, 2015? Are you so stressed thinking about your next media frenzy showmanship, to forget, so soon, that your political party, PDP, was in power when the Chibok girls were kidnapped?

I am really concerned with your state of mind, your mental health, because of your careless statements. You are the Chief Executive of one of Nigeria’s young states. Ekiti State is just 21 years old. You are not an outlaw or the leader of an unorganized turbulent brood of intimidators or mob boss. You are a Governor. Chief Executive! Respect that institution by behaving decently. Stop embarrassing the good citizens of Ekiti State.

Early March, you challenged the President to speak to you from his London sick bed, as proof to Nigerians that he was not dead. Who the hell are you?... Who made you a spokesperson for the Nigerian people? You are a State Governor, not an arrogant Federal employee. So, why did you think that Nigerians trusted or considered you credible source of information with regards to their President? Sir, with the greatest respect, are you hallucinating? You are not the Voice of Nigeria….

Your Excellency, you charged our President’s wife, Alhaja Aishat,  of playing games with the release of the Chibok girls. Last year, you accused her of being wanted in the United States for Halliburton alleged corruption. These were your musings during her publicized visit, as First Lady, to the United States.

Do you really reason about the consequences of your statements before you open your mouth? During our severe recession in December, you indicted President Buhari for using the recession to punish Nigerians. You denied that the country was in a recession. Why would an elected head of his people punish his nation with a recession? What is the purpose or desired goals of punishing Nigerians with the recession?

You are an elected leader. In life, time is the judge and history, the jury. You are 57 years old, these times. You are 21 years apart from 78, perhaps one day; you would attempt political office at past prime of your life. How would you feel, if, at 78, a 48 yr old lavishes insults at your office and person, mischaracterizes your aspirations for our country and declared you dead while you are recuperating from illness?

We are not omnipotent; no one is immune from health challenges… Health conditions come at any time of our lives. A man who disrespects an old man with lies and callously wishes him death, his father’s age mate, is indirectly expressing his years of built up emotions, rage, and anger toward his father.

Your Excellency, personal attacks on a sick honest old man will not give you closure to past relationships with your father. Only therapy would reconcile you and your dad. You seemed an emotionally troubled Governor. You are erratic, hysterical, bullish, and insecure, an embarrassment to the office you occupy.

Sir, I remind you that Buhari’s administration is yours too. Historians would remember you as the Governor of Ekiti State, during President Muhammad Buhari's administration, as a democratically elected President. Buhari's successes and failures are part of your governorship history. You may think your freestyle outbursts against President Buhari identify you as a "straight shooter" or unafraid anti-establishment.

No sir. Your antics show a disconnection between your present and your past: your tirades, frequently directed at a disciplined servant of the people, suggests you are struggling with your low self-esteem, past emotional trauma, always wishing to be the attention of the moment.

My dear Governor, something is wrong with you. You are neither the law nor above it as Chief Executive of Ekiti State. "Ekitians" shall remember you as a lawless loudmouthed attention seeker willing and able to say stupid things.

A man that reacts on impulse. You make headline news as a clown, as President Buhari’s attack machine, than actually addressing the economic and social challenges of the great Ekiti people: healthcare, jobs, crime, education, security, good road, and infrastructure.

Pay civil workers their past salaries and find creative ways to make their salaries regular, focus on programs to help millions of unemployed youths and graduates with no jobs. Give every child the opportunity to better healthcare and education. Reduce crime by encouraging local law enforcements with regular salaries and for teachers, too. Build affordable hospitals, clinics to help ageing Ekiti population, not run to the local markets to price “ponmo” or walk into a popular “Buka” and eat just to show you are a regular “homeboy” Governor connected with everyday Ekitians.

Sir, how would Ekiti people remember your administration, twenty years from now? Under your three year administration, what programs have impacted the ordinary person in Ekiti. You were elected as Governor in 2014. You perfectly used Buhari’s illness to distract citizens from auditing your lame duck administration. Your Excellency, it is absolutely possible to fool few people, sometimes, but it is impossible to fool all the people, all the time.

Thank you for the privilege to write you.

FIBA Allows Hijab In Professional Basketball

A new rule to let basketball players wear headgear that complies with their religious faith has been passed by the sport's governing body.

The rule will take effect on Oct. 1, the Switzerland-based federation known as FIBA said in a statement.

Then, players can wear hijabs, turbans and yarmulkes following a 20-year ban on head coverings that was initially imposed for safety reasons.

"The new rule comes as a result of the fact that traditional dress codes in some countries — which called for the head and/or entire body being covered — were incompatible with FIBA's previous headgear rule," the governing body said.

FIBA member federations passed the rule Thursday at a congress in Hong Kong after studying the issue since 2014, and with several conditions on design and color.

"It was developed in a way that minimizes the risk of injuries as well as preserve consistency of the color of the uniform," FIBA said.

Headgear will be permitted under the following conditions: it must be black, white or the same dominant color as a team's uniform; not cover any part of the face entirely or partially; and have "no opening/closing elements around the face and/or neck."

The headgear must also have "no parts extruding from its surface," FIBA said.

THE SECRET OF MY 'MONEY BY TB JOSHUA.

“One of the big secrets of my life I want to share with you – all these crusades you see me doing around the world such as in Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru etc. – I pay most of the money. We don’t control the Holy Spirit! When I am there, I want to be free. I want to sleep at the time the Spirit wants me to sleep. I want to pray for who the Holy Spirit wants me to pray for. Don’t pay and then start bringing your brother, sister or cousin for prayer. If you pay for the stadium for me, you will collect money from big businessmen that are sick – they will be the ones you arrange in front, telling me, “Pray for this one, Man of God – he is the one who paid seventy percent of the money”. God cannot support such an arrangement. You are telling me to come out at 8am when the Spirit of God said I can come out at 10am. So, I pay for the stadium. My accommodation – I don’t let them know where I am going to lodge. After the crusade, you can know where I am living but before the crusade, I will not allow you.

“I want to be at peace with myself. I will enter your country with money and I will go out of the country and not take your money out – it is a rule and regulation because the grace is not for sale. I will make sure I cut my coat according to my size. If I know I am short of money, I will leave. The offering during the crusade – I said I don’t want to do anything with it. The organisers will talk about the offering.

“My joy is to see people healed; my joy is to see people delivered; my joy is to see people blessed. That is my money. Each person that is delivered is more than $20,000 to me! That is the money God gives me - the joy to sleep in peace. You need to know what it means if God uses you to heal and deliver people. If you know what it means, you will want to heal/ deliver people all the time. If you know what it means – the joy in God using you to deliver people – you will never ask the people you deliver to bring money. Even if they want to give you, you will beg them not to destroy your life.

“If you know what it means for God to use you to set someone free from their problems – it’s more than a trillion dollars. If you know what it is to set people free – don’t wait for the person to say, ‘Thank you’. God has given me something more than thank you. There is nothing more than being given the grace to set people free. People that are in pain – God gives you the grace to remove that pain. Which millionaire? If God uses you to remove the pain of one, you are more than a millionaire.  You believe your reward is money – no! If money is your gain, you are robbing yourself. That money is insufficient – it cannot give you peace. Money cannot buy you peace. If money could give you peace, many of you would not be here today. That is why you just see me at Ikotun-Egbe. From Ikotun-Egbe – look at the glory of God!”

Banky W and Adesua Etomi set to tie.

Music guru, Banky W & Nollywood Actress, Adesua Etomi sets to tie the knot!
.
BANKY W'S STORY ;
We crossed paths 2 or 3 times since 2012, but I wasn't paying enough attention. Destiny was staring me right in the face and I was too caught up in my own hustle and paper chase, to know it. In June 2015 however, God brought you my way again, and this time, I really SAW you. I was smitten by your grace, aura, and beauty. So smitten infact, that even though I didn't get to say a word to you that day (because you were seated far across the room), I immediately called my best friend @captdemuren and told him I'd found my next girlfriend. LOL. He laughed.

I asked one or two people about you.. your manager Isioma, who I'd worked with previously, and then I did some research myself. Googled you, stalked your instagram.. the whole 9 yards, and the more I found out, the more you seemed like a breath of fresh air.
Now I personally don't like being "hooked up", so I decided to approach you myself by sliding into your DM a few days later. Introduced myself, made some silly attempts to make you laugh, told you I planned to become your biggest fan, and asked if we could be friends. Thank God you laughed at my silly jokes, and thank God you graciously agreed to become my friend. At the time, I was COMPLETELY lying about only wanting to be friends, by the way.. but I figured it was a safe place to start.
Since that DM, I've spoken to you pretty much every single day for almost 2 years. Sometimes, in the morning, at night and in between. We clicked instantly, and you quickly became one of my favourite people on earth, and one of my closest friends. It got to the point where my day wouldn't quite feel right without speaking to you. I needed your friendship. I needed, and still need, the bond we share. It completes me.
I knew pretty early in the process that I wanted to spend forever with you. Prayed about it fervently. But it took you FOREVER (okay fine.. maybe a year and a half or so) to see things my way. But I kinda knew all along.. I was just waiting for you to catch up.
In that time, I got engaged to you in my "made for you" music video... and by pure coincidence, we both got cast to get married in the wedding party movie.. but all the while we were the very best of friends. I guess, in our case, real life will now imitate art.

I'm not sure what the future will bring, but I'm completely sure that I am ready to face it with you by my side. I pray that God continues to build me into the kind of man that you deserve. I love you Susu.. I feel safe and at peace with you. You mean the world to me. Thank you for agreeing to be my lover and best friend. Thank you for agreeing to be my wife.
PS: The timing of this may make some people think this is promo for another video, or a movie. It isn't.
Ironically, everyone who has seen us together in art, or in life, always insists that we have amazing chemistry. I guess you can say we have been hiding in plain sight. I fell in love with an Actress. Now my life is a movie.
In February of 2017, I asked Adesua Tolulope Oluwaseun Etomi to be my wife. She said YES!

ADESUA ETOMI'S STORY
I went to an event in 2015 and I suppose that was the beginning of something amazing  because once  banky saw me, he decided that he was going to be my biggest fan.
He slid into my DM and sent the funniest message and that was how we became friends. At the time, I wasn’t interested in anything but a friendship and he was very respectful of that and so we stayed just friends for about a year and a half.
Our friendship opened my eyes to a lot of things. Opened my eyes to the type of man Olubankole is and WHAT A MAN. WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN.
Olubankole, Your Heart is pure and good, to the very core. You are proof that God is real, you are proof that what’s on the inside is greater and so much more powerful than what we see on the outside and you are the evidence of what I hoped for. I bless God for entrusting my heart in your hands because I know it’s safe. You are everything i prayed for and so much more.
Thank you for praying with me, fasting with me, always making time for me, laughing with me,  and caring more about me than yourself. Thank you for being kind, loving and full of Integrity.
And i’d like to say one more thing. I’m SO SORRY that it took me sooo long to realise that it was you. It has always been you. It couldn’t have been anyone else.
In February 2017, you said you couldn’t be without me and asked me to be your wife and I said YES cause I can’t be without you.
It will be an absolute pleasure and one of the greatest blessings of my life to walk the path of life with you.
Thank you for being who you are.
My goodluck charm, my King, my lover, my bestfriend.
I love you till eternity and beyond.
No, This Is not a movie.
Future Mrs W.

Why Nigerians were warned not to vote Buhari Ten Years Ago? Obviously Nigerians do not like to read and that is why we are where we are...
