Best Graduating Student Got #10,000.00 as Award

The best graduating student got a whopping N10,000 award for doing so well. My brothers and sisters are angry because Big Brother Abakaliki contestants would probably get more for groping themselves on camera.
Well, what my brothers (and sisters) haven't noticed is that the banner upon which the prize money was formally written costs about N16,000. Big flex banner. Small prize money.
Shouldn't the flex banner have just been monetized to make the award a total of N26,000 for the boy?

Beside the laugh, please remember that the important thing is the feat. Regardless of the size of the prize money, I rejoice with the student for coming top.
Correction
The prize was not given by GTB but by the Medical Students' Association.
