Is DSTV trying to recover the penalty government imposed on MTN?

DSTV HIKES SUBSCRIPTIONS!

MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, the South African owned cable television has just announced an increase in its bouquet subscription effective May 1, 2017

A customer received an SMS this weekend announcing such increase. Premium package fee has changed from N13,980 to N14,700 while the Compact package fee has changed from N6,000 to N6,300 effective 1 May 2017. Ditto other bouquets.

From further analysis, it's observed that about 5% increase was added to the extant amount payable. Meanwhile, DStv reduced its subscription in countries like Kenya, Uganda and Malawi as much as 24% in October 2016.

Whither do Nigerians go from here considering the present excruciating and exacerbating economic condition? Is this the effect of monopoly? Is there anyway forward?

Why Nigerians were warned not to vote Buhari Ten Years Ago? Obviously Nigerians do not like to read and that is why we are where we are...
